The Pequannock Valley Rotary offers scholarships to students fromLincoln Park, Pequannock, Pompton Plains or Riverdale.  The Rotary’s moto is Service Above Self, so the scholarship awards are heavy based on volunteer activities and community service. Applicants must be attending a COLLEGE, TRADE SCHOOL or other institution in the Fall of 2020. Deadline to submit your application is March 20, 2020.  
 
SCHOLARSHIP TYPES:
  • GENERAL: students who plan to further their academic education and earn a college degree
  • VOCATIONAL/TRADE SCHOOL:  students who plan on a future education in a specific trade such as nursing, culinary, electrical, plumbing
  • MEMORIAL:  given in memory of a retired or deceased rotary member
 
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:
  • academic achievement
  • community service
  • extra-curricular activities
  • financial need may be considered
All applications will be reviewed and selections will be made by the Pequannock Valley Rotary Scholarship Committee.  Candidates selected will be notified prior to their graduation and invited to attend our Scholarship Luncheon in June 2020 to receive their award.   All information submitted will be held in strictest confidence and will become the property of the Pequannock Valley Rotary Club Scholarship Committee.  Applications from candidates related to a current Pequannock Valley Rotarian will not be considered.
